Dawn Tide

"The sea was calm and the tide was full. The slight chop of the current had made a long lazy swell that rose and fell on the calm water. The old man was rowing slowly and steadily out to sea, looking for the drifting weed beds where he had caught good fish before." - The Old Man and the Sea, Ernest Hemingway

The first rays of dawn were illuminating the old fishing boat painting it as a silhouette against the horizon. The waves crashed against the rocks, their spray misting the air.
